Beautifully handcrafted in the heart of Worcestershire and supplied with a market-leading 25-year anti-rot guarantee, this 12×8 Timberdale Double Door Apex Shed (3.65m x 2.52m) makes an excellent choice if you require premium-quality, easily-accessible, large garden storage.Intelligent Modular Design and Premium BuildExpertly built from superior 12mm tongue and groove cladding, on a strapping double 33mm frame (66 x 33mm), this garden shed simply oozes class. Its smart modular design means that it’s delivered to you in smaller sections but you get more wood, so you’ll find it far easier to assemble than other wooden sheds, and much stronger too. This modular design has the added benefit of allowing you to choose the window placements to suit your exact requirements.Tongue and Groove Floor PLUS RoofThe floor is also built from premium 12mm tongue and groove, so is perfectly equipped to accommodate your heavier items and will easily cope with regular footfall. Pressure-treated bearers allow good air circulation underneath the shed, which prevents the wood getting damp, providing another layer of protection against rot and fungal decay in this key area. The 12mm tongue and groove roof sports a traditional apex design. It is fitted with a superior 140g reinforced-polyester mineral felt cover for unbeatable weatherproof protection (roof felt colour may vary). The high roofline offers you ample headroom and increases your garden storage options, while 2 diamond-shaped finials add the finishing touches to the shed’s incredibly attractive appearance.Security-Enhanced Doors and Opening WindowsYou can gain storage-friendly access to this shed via generously-sized, ledged and braced double doors. They include exterior turn buttons, interior bolts and a key-operated lock, so rest assured that your valuable tools will remain completely safe from unwanted attention. Two opening windows ensure the interior benefits from an abundance of natural light and give you the opportunity to ventilate the shed – welcome news when you’re depositing stored items and a great way to optimise garden storage conditions. These windows are made from 4mm toughened safety glass – perfect if you have family members who enjoy ball games!Ethically-Sourced Wood and Completely Maintenance FreeThis 12×8 shed is built using FSC®-certified wood, which is the world’s most trusted mark for sustainable forestry. It is pressure treated to prevent rot and supplied with an extraordinary 25-year anti-rot guarantee, which is the longest on the market. Retreatment is never required, saving you money and leaving you more time to enjoy your garden.Britain’s Best Range of Wooden ShedsThe Forest Timberdale range of tongue and groove, pressure-treated sheds consists of a number of different sizes and styles. The wooden shed base consists of a framework that is made from UC4 incised timber which has been pressure treated. The pressure treatment ensures that the framework is robust and is guaranteed to resist rot for an impressive 15 years. Size of base: 7.5cm (h) x 241.6cm (w) x 354cm (d)       Plastic Shed Base Kit Quick and simple to install, the 12×8 plastic shed base kit is ideal for avoiding the hassle of laying slabs or concrete when preparing a base for a new shed. Its interlocking design makes it easy to put together and, though lightweight, it provides a very strong and durable base for the shed. Made from 100% recycled plastic, this shed base is eco-friendly. Also, it can be reused if the shed is repositioned. The base allows for ventilation and drainage under the shed, helping to keep the shed floor dry. To install the base, simply interlock the square grids together and lay onto a firm, level area of ground. We recommend using 15kg of 10mm pea gravel per square (gravel not included). Each square is 500 x 500 x 40mm. This pack contains 40 squares and heavy-duty, commercially-graded weed membrane. Please be advised that we do not assemble plastic shed bases as part of our installation service. You must prepare the base yourself in advance of the installers’ visit.
