6×4.5m Log Cabin Base Kit by Buy Sheds Direct

Boasting supreme weather-resistant qualities and oozing contemporary style, the Palmako Grace 5m x 3m Double Glazed Pent Log Cabin Sliding Doors Plus (56mm) comes with 14.1m² of interior space, in which you’ll love to spend time, every single day of the year. Superior Insulation and Weathertightness This log cabin is expertly built from 56mm laminated Nordic spruce walls, with modern corner connectors, making it an exceptionally well-insulated and weather-resistant garden building, suitable for use the whole year round. The floor is made from extra-thick 28mm tongue and groove. It is supported by treated foundation joists, which improve air flow underneath the log cabin and act as a barrier against rot-causing ground moisture. The roof is constructed from 19mm tongue and groove. It features a contemporary pent design for effective rainwater runoff, as well as a generous overhang to prevent sun glare. Roof Cover Upgrades As the roof does not come with a weatherproof cover as standard, we advise purchasing SBS, roof underlay felt and heavy-duty roofing nails as optional upgrades. SBS weatherproof roof covering is a thick, torch-on felt with an exceptionally long lifespan and outstanding weatherproof qualities. Unless you possess advanced DIY skills, we recommend hiring a professional installer to fit it for you. Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but only designed as a temporary covering or to supplement the SBS. 2 Sets of Sliding Doors with Toughened Double Glazing The 2 sets of sliding doors are made from 4-16-4mm toughened double glazing, providing even greater insulation and ready to withstand the rigours of a busy, family-orientated garden. They include aluminium frames and stainless-steel sills, to protect these high-traffic areas from wear and tear. Cylinder locks are fitted too, so rest assured that your valuable items will remain safe from unwanted attention. Delivery, Installation and Warranty Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes. Backed by an impressive 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this garden room comes with instructions and a fixings kit to help you achieve a straightforward assembly. Wood Care This log cabin is delivered untreated. We recommend applying an initial anti-fungal treatment upon assembly and annually, thereafter, to protect the wood from rot and validate the warranty. The wood can be painted, if desired. Choice of Sizes Palmako Grace Log Cabins are available for you to buy in a range of sizes and designs, some of which include adjoining wooden gazebos.
