12×12 Plastic Shed Base Kit by Buy Sheds Direct

The answer to all of your garden storage requirements, and a great workshop or hobby room too, the 12 x 12 Traditional Heavy Duty Apex Wooden Garden Shed (3.66m x 3.66m) is a robust, durable and incredibly versatile garden building. This heavy-duty wooden shed is expertly built from premium 12mm tongue and groove shiplap cladding, on a strapping 50mm x 50mm frame with diagonal cross bracing. In terms of strength, lifespan and weather resistance, it’s an absolute leader in its class. The floor and roof are made from superior 12mm tongue and groove. The former is perfectly equipped to store your heavier tools and machinery, and will easily cope with constant footfall. The latter sports a traditional apex design and is fitted with a premium mineral felt cover to keep your stored items completely dry. Not just robust, durable and completely weathertight, this garden shed is exceptionally good looking too. It comes with a smooth-planed finish and diamond-shaped finials to round off a very smart appearance. You can gain storage-friendly access to the interior via a ledged and braced door, which is fitted with zinc hinges, a door knob and key-operated lock, so your valuable tools will remain completely safe from unwanted attention. Once inside, you’ll find there’s plenty of headroom. The shed’s generous height, of course, also increases your garden storage options. This wooden shed is designed with 2 fixed and 2 opening windows. This provides the interior with an abundance of natural light, plus welcome ventilation on a hot summer’s day. (Please note, this number of windows depends on you positioning the door at the gable end of the shed.) All of the glazing is made from toughened glass – welcome news in a busy, family-orientated garden. This workshop shed is delivered to you dip treated and with a reassuring 1-year parts guarantee (excluding the roof felt). You should retreat it with a high-quality wood preservative, within 6 weeks of assembly and annually, thereafter, to protect the wood from rot and maintain the shed’s attractive appearance. If you upgrade to pressure-treated wood, it’s backed by a superb 15-year anti-rot guarantee and no re-treatment is required, saving you money and leaving you with more time to do the things you enjoy. Furthermore, we’ll match your upgrade by fitting your new garden building with superior 15mm cladding for FREE. Please be advised that waterproofing is still required within a month of assembly and annually, thereafter, even with pressure-treated wood. This premium wooden shed is available in a range of sizes. A number of other choices and optional extras are available to purchase, including an extra-wide door, a stable-style door, double doors, door fitted in a variety of positions, conversion of fixed windows to opening windows, a windowless design, a Pro Shed Base Kit, wooden floor bearers and, of course, that upgrade to pressure-treated timber. Our UK-based customer service team will be delighted to guide you through your options. Please be aware that specification measurements for cladding, floorboards and framing are nominal (before machining). As a result, there can be a variance of plus or minus 1mm on the cladding and floorboards, and a plus or minus of 5mm on the framing. Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes.
