5×4.5m Plastic Log Cabin Base Kit by Buy Sheds Direct

A contemporary garden building, built to last, the Palmako Lea 4.9m x 4m Double Glazed Log Cabin Garden Office Sliding Doors Plus (44mm) boasts 14.2m² of interior space, in which you can work, rest or play, in comfort and style.A Premium Log CabinThis log cabin is expertly built from 44mm Nordic spruce interlocking cladding, with added wind braces and a chalet cut design, so it’ll withstand whatever nature throws at it, remaining both comfortable and welcoming, the whole year round. The floor is made from high-end 19mm tongue and groove. It is supported by treated foundation joists, which improve air flow underneath the log cabin and act as a barrier against rot-causing ground moisture. The roof is constructed from 19mm tongue and groove too. It features a contemporary pent design for effective rainwater runoff, as well as a generous overhang to prevent sun glare.Roof Cover UpgradesAs the roof does not come with a weatherproof cover as standard, we advise purchasing SBS, roof underlay felt and heavy-duty roofing nails as optional upgrades.SBS weatherproof roof covering is a thick, torch-on felt with an exceptionally long lifespan and outstanding weatherproof qualities. Unless you possess advanced DIY skills, we recommend hiring a professional installer to fit it for you.Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but only designed as a temporary covering or to supplement the SBS.Sliding Doors Set with Toughened Double GlazingThe sliding doors set is made from 4-16-4mm toughened double glazing, providing enhanced insulation and ready to withstand the rigours of a busy, family-orientated garden. It includes an aluminium frame and stainless-steel sill, to protect this high-traffic area from wear and tear. A cylinder lock is fitted too, so rest assured that your valuable items will remain safe from unwanted attention.Delivery, Installation and WarrantyFree delivery is available to most UK postcodes.Backed by an impressive 5-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, this garden room comes with instructions and a fixings kit to help you achieve a straightforward assembly.Wood CareThis log cabin is delivered untreated. We recommend applying an initial anti-fungal treatment upon assembly and annually, thereafter, to protect the wood from rot and validate the warranty. The wood can be painted, if desired.Choice of SizesPalmako Lea Log Cabins are available for you to buy in a range of sizes and designs, some of which include double glazing.Features 14.2m² of interior spaceBuilt from 44mm Nordic spruce, with added wind braces and a chalet-cut designPremium 19mm tongue and groove floor, fitted with treated foundation joists19mm tongue and groove pent roofSelect a roof cover as an optional upgradeSliding doors made from 4-16-4mm toughened double glazingFitted with aluminium frame, stainless-steel sill, handle and cylinder lockFSC® certified woodImpressive 5-year manufacturer’s parts warrantyDelivered untreated – wood preservative must be appliedChoose a Palmako Lea log cabin from a range of designs and sizesFree delivery to most UK postcodes
