Shire Danbury 2.5m x 2.4m Log Cabin Shed (19mm) by Buy Sheds Direct

Robust, durable and supremely weathertight, the Shire Danbury 2.4m x 2.4m Log Cabin Shed (19mm) gives your valuable stored items the protection they deserve and makes an excellent mini workshop for your practical tasks. This garden shed is expertly built in Great Britain from 19mm interlocking wooden boards, which makes the cladding more than 50% thicker than most other premium wooden sheds. The floor and roof are both made from superior 12mm tongue and groove. The former will easily withstand regular footfall and is perfectly equipped to house your heavier tools and machinery. It comes with pressure-treated bearers for additional support and to prevent ground moisture from causing rot. The apex roof is fitted with a weatherproof felt cover to ensure your stored items receive complete protection from the elements. The roof’s taller than average height offers you ample headroom, along with increased storage options. With the addition of a diamond-shaped finial, it nicely rounds off the shed’s smart, attractive appearance. You can gain easy access to the interior through a single door, which is fitted with a full-length piano hinge and pad bolt, so rest assured that your expensive tools will remain safe from unwanted attention (padlock not included).Once inside, you’ll find that the opening window provides plenty of natural light and welcome ventilation while you’re hard at work inside. In keeping with the shed’s traditional premium build, this window is made from real glass. Both the door and window are expertly built using traditional, skilled joinery techniques, so are completely weatherproof and never present a weak spot in a storm. This garden shed is made exclusively from FSC®-certified timber, which is the only wood-certification scheme endorsed by all of the major environmental charities. It is supplied to you untreated and with a 1-year manufacturer’s guarantee. You should coat the shed in a high-quality wood preservative upon assembly and annually, thereafter, to guard against rot and fungal decay. Alternatively, you can apply coloured wood preservative for a more individual look.Clear instructions are included to help you achieve a straightforward assembly. You can purchase a model of this premium workshop shed in 4 sizes.Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes.Handcrafted in Great Britain19mm interlocking wood cladding12mm tongue and groove floor includes pressure-treated bearers12mm tongue and groove roof features weatherproof felt coveringDoor fitted with full-length piano hinge and pad bolt (padlock not included)1 opening windowDoor and window made using traditional, skilled joineryFSC®-certified wood throughout1-year manufacturer’s guaranteeSupplied untreated – treat upon assembly and annually, thereafterThis shed is available in 4 sizesFree delivery to most UK postcodes
