Far more exciting than phones or computer games, the 6 x 4 Shire Command Post Kids Wooden Platform Playhouse (1.69m x 2.22m) will encourage your children to get themselves outdoors and let off steam, while they remain safely within the confines of your garden. This children’s playhouse is expertly built in Great Britain from premium 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding, on a sturdy 34mm frame. It features a superior 12mm tongue and groove floor plus 8mm OSB roof, so will remain a much-loved fixture in your garden for many years to come. The pent roof includes a weatherproof felt cover to keep your little ones dry.Set atop an enclosed, wooden platform, which is supported by robust, cross-braced legs, this platform playhouse is accessed via a sturdy, wooden ladder, which you can instal in a variety of positions. The door comes with a roller catch, full-length safety hinge and handle, ensuring safe and easy access to the interior.Once inside, 8 windows/ gun ports provide an abundance of natural light. The windows are made from styrene, which is completely shatterproof and renowned for being far safer than conventional glass. The opening gun ports are made from wood, and sure to add to the fun and games. Their only downside is that when you call your children inside for dinner, you may need to take cover from water-pistol fire.If you’re worried about said dinner getting cold while this goes on, allow us to recommend the long, wavy slide, which is available to buy as an optional extra and which offers a much quicker exit from the playhouse. The door, windows AND timber ports are all crafted using traditional, skilled joinery techniques.Fully compliant with BS EN 71 (CE) safety regulations, this wooden Wendy house is built exclusively from FSC®-certified timber, which is the only wood-certification scheme endorsed by all of the major environmental charities. The wood is also dip treated and supplied with a superb 10-year anti-rot guarantee, which is in addition to the 1-year parts guarantee. You must follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on assembly, usage and retreatment to validate these guarantees. Please be advised that the dip-treatment process leaves the wood with a honey-brown hue. This is how the playhouse is delivered to you. If you’d like to create your own individual style, feel free to apply coloured wood preservative instead.Clear instructions and a full set of fixings are provided to help you achieve a straightforward assembly.Free delivery is available to most UK postcodes.Superb 10-year anti-rot guarantee plus 1-year parts guarantee12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding supported by a robust 34mm frameSuperior 12mm tongue and groove floor8mm OSB roof fitted with weatherproof felt coveringFeatures sturdy, wooden ladder and enclosed platformBuy a long, wavy slide as an optional extraDoor includes roller catch, full-length safety hinge and handle8 windows/ gun ports (windows made from styrene, gun ports from woodBS EN 71 (CE) safety compliantExclusively built using FSC®-certified woodDip treated – wood comes in a honey-brown finish, not paintedFree delivery to most UK postcodes
