Shire Elm 5.1m x 3m Double Door Log Cabin with Side Shed (19mm) by Buy Sheds Direct

A garden building to cater for all your needs, the Shire Elm 5.1m x 3m log cabin with side shed brings you both a relaxing indoor retreat and a practical space to store your tools, bikes or garden gear. This double door log cabin design means you’re not just buying a shed – you’re getting a multi-purpose outdoor room. The Flexible All-in-One Log Cabin with Side Shed Including a 12×9 garden room and 4×9 side shed, this multipurpose garden building gives you far more than just a regular log cabin. An interior wall divides the two areas, which can each be independently accessed via their own door(s). You can install the shed on either side of the log cabin, the choice is entirely yours. A British-Built Log Cabin This double door log cabin is expertly built in Great Britain, from 19mm Northern European pine logs, so is robust, weathertight, and will become a much-loved feature of your garden for decades to come. The floor and roof are both constructed from premium 12mm tongue and groove. The former is supported by pressure-treated bearers, which improve air circulation underneath this key area and provide a further layer of protection against rot-causing ground moisture. The latter comes with a contemporary pent design and is fitted with a superior mineral-felt cover to ensure you enjoy complete weatherproof protection. The wood used to make this log cabin is FSC® certified, which is the world’s most trusted mark for sustainable forestry. Double Doors and 3 Windows You can gain easy access to the garden room via glazed double doors, which can be secured by a key-operated lock. The 3 large, opening windows provide additional natural light and allow you to ventilate the interior, whenever it’s required. All of the glazing is made from Perspex, ideal for a busy, family-orientated garden. The side shed is fitted with a single, solid door, which can also be secured by a key-operated lock, so rest assured that your valuable tools and equipment will remain safe from unwanted attention. Log Cabin Installation and Treatment Advice This log cabin with side shed is supplied untreated, with a 1-year manufacturer’s guarantee and clear assembly instructions. You should install it on a solid, level base and treat the wood with a high-quality preservative upon assembly. As the garden building’s total height is 2.25m, planning permission is not required. You should apply further treatment to the wood on an annual basis, to maintain effective levels of protection. Explore our full range of 19mm log cabins to find the perfect fit for your garden.
