Palmako Valentine 2.8m x 1.8m Premium Log Cabin Shed (28mm) by Buy Sheds Direct

At last, a garden building to fulfil all of your requirements! The Palmako Valentine 2.8m x 1.8m Premium Log Cabin Shed (28mm) can be your invaluable storage shed, stylish workshop or beautiful garden room – the choice is entirely yours.Superior BuildExpertly crafted from 28mm slow-grown Nordic Spruce, this wooden shed is a robust, durable and incredibly attractive garden building. With a chalet-cut design and wind braces too, it offers your stored items exceptional weatherproof protection. The timber is FSC®-certified, which is the only wood-certification scheme endorsed by all of the major environmental charities.A Pressure Treated Garden BuildingAs this garden building is pressure treated, no further anti-rot treatment is required, saving you time and money on expensive retreatments. This is a rarity for log cabin-style garden buildings. What’s more, the wood’s resulting beautiful brown hue enhances the shed’s exceptionally attractive appearance, which is sure to complement the rest of your garden perfectly.(We recommend supplementing the manufacturer’s pressure treatment with Timmersol Clear Stabiliser and Waterproofer. This will ensure that the shed not only remains protected against rot and fungal decay, but stays unbeatably waterproof too.)Floor and RoofTo potentially save you unnecessary expenditure, this garden cabin is supplied without a floor as standard. For this reason, we advise you to position it on a firm, level surface. Should you desire specialist flooring, an extra-thick 19mm tongue and groove floor is available for you to buy as an optional extra. The roof is constructed from premium 16mm tongue and groove, recognised for its strength, weathertight qualities and aesthetic appeal. It comes with a generous overhang to shield the interior from sun glare – perfect whether you’re relaxing or working inside. A traditional apex design and 2 diamond-shaped finials round off an incredibly attractive appearance, which is sure to complement the rest of your garden beautifully.Choice of Roof CoveringsPlease be advised that the roof does not include a cover as standard. Select from SBS, Charcoal Felt Shingles or Roof Felt Underlay as an optional upgrade.(SBS is a thick, torch-on felt with an exceptionally long lifespan and outstanding weatherproof qualities. Unless you possess advanced DIY skills, we recommend hiring a professional installer to fit it.Heavy-duty Charcoal Felt Shingles are a permanent weatherproof roof covering, which is attractive, easy to instal and extremely durable.Roof Underlay Felt is simple to nail on to the garden building but only designed as a temporary solution until you have added a permanent weatherproof roof cover upgrade.)Doors and WindowsYou can gain comfortable access to the interior through wide double doors, which feature a laminated frame to keep out draughts and prevent the warping and cracking caused by changes in temperature. They also include a stainless-steel sill cover, which stops the timber wearing down after heavy usage. When you’re not at home, you can rest assured that your stored items are safe from unwanted attention thanks to a key-operated cylinder lock. The 2 large windows on the door provide plenty of natural light. Both of them are made from real glass, for that extra little touch of class.Assembly Instructions and FixingsThis Palmako log cabin comes with installation instructions and a fixings kit. Together with the chalet-cut wooden boards, which simply slide together, this should help you achieve a straightforward assembly.Guarantee and Choice of SizesSupplied to you with an excellent 5-year manufacturer’s parts guarantee, this garden shed is available in a range of sizes, all of which boast the same premium specifications.Free DeliveryFree delivery is available to most UK postcodes.Internal area is 4.7m²Built from 28mm slow-grown Nordic SprucePressure treated – no further treatment against rot requiredFeatures chalet-cut design plus wind bracesPremium 16mm tongue and groove roofGlazed double doors feature laminated frame, stainless-steel sill and cylinder lockGenerous 5-year parts guaranteeFSC®-certified woodFloor not included – buy a premium 19mm tongue and groove floor as an optional extraNo roof covering – choose one as an optional upgradePalmako Valentine Log Cabins available in various sizesBuy Timmersol Clear Stabiliser and Waterproofer to supplement the pressure treatmentFree delivery to most UK postcodes
